Double Postage

November 4, 2009

2 posts in a day. Spectacular on my part I barely find time to pee through out the day let alone double post! You remember my to do list?

  1. Compile guest list from both sides and pick invitations get them ordered.
  2. Give a set time for the wedding and reception
  3. Pick reception area. Either at the Church of Children’s Harbor not really sure.
  4. My number four about Xanax was silly. I am a big girl and I do not need it.
  5. Pick colors for wedding and invitations, thinking about an assortment of colors or if I go with colors I am thinking persimmon orange, watermelon pink, and some kind of green not really sure. I wanted to incorporate green some how for Bradley because it is his favorite color.

*** Persimmon and Watermelon.. I have decided on no green. I am sure I will change my mind about the persimmon and watermelon… why?? Because I am Ms. Indecisive!!!

       6. ** FIND A FREAKING PHOTOGRAPHER!! No, I will pass on Chrietzberg he is too expensive and not creative enough for my tastes. There is a photographer I would love to have but she lives out of state and would probably cost a bloody fortune.  I read her blog she is a mommy blogger that is an awesome photographer and she is so very creative. But I am probably  dreaming and need to look for a local photographer that can take a decent picture with at least an ounce of creativeness. ( Sorry if I offended Chrietzberg Fans, doubt it, but sorry none the less)

*** Photographer in the works ladies and gentlemen!! Looking at some portfolios this weekend :)

So as you can see I have been working a lot on wedding stuff the past few days/week!! Very excited going next Wednesday, because I am off work, to look at dresses and meet with Ms. Deborah and order my invitations. Man, I dread ordering postage for those things especially since postage costs an arm and a freaking leg!!! Anyway thats what going on!! Oh and also this Thursday I have an appointment with Ms. Tammy Jackson to tour the Harbor House at Children’s Harbor. It is available on my wedding day and normally it would cost 1055 dollars well with Bradley working for Russell he gets a 50 percent discount.  So it would only be 555  dollars! The 55 dollars is the clean up fee. But they provide us with eight 8 foot tables, six 6 foot tables and 3 or 4 huge round tables. It also has a kitchen and has a huge wrap around deck! I am very excited and I have determined that if I like the place we are going for it! I know that  if I wait and shop around some more it is going to be taken. Just like many of the other places are taken already. I am getting married in 6 months and a couple of weeks and I must pick a reception spot as soon as possible. Plus it will give me some peace of mind. After I get all that settled dress shopping will commence and my Say yes to the Dress posts will begin!!! Please pray for me and the decisions I make as far as this wedding and school and my life in general goes.
